I have an issue, I am trying to bot, in either eastern la noscea or in the shroud. Either places, it has shards before any of the items, and the bot always always always tries to go for the shards before anything that give worth while xp....

Is there a way to fix this?

I want it to mine either raw garnet or raw amethyst.

you have to set up the marker in that zone and put the items you want in the priority list..... read the tutorial for gathering and tutorial for marker mananger.

I followed the guide, standing right in front of the node yielding the mythril ore, and
instead, it just ran to a level 30 node to get dark matter... Ugh. I even set the levels from 35-41 and it still ran to a level 30 node.

because you probably have more then one marker in the marker list. set the new marker as a single marker and select your marker in the drop down list.
