Just thought I'd throw this out there.
With fishing use precision hooset if player.status is 56, powerfull hookset if player.status is 57 or 58.
I modified ffxiv_task_fish function e_bite:execute() to add the logic, worthwhile to share?
todays update crashes the client when bot tries to attach
Just tried it again, and it worked fine.

Same issue here
If you are using a 3rd party antivirus, even if "it worked before" after an update the scanner may think its a different file even if you allowed it once... It has been said many, many times issues regarding 3rd party anti-virus's, and even in the launcher itself.
Also the old launcher is not going to be updated, so please use Minionapp.
Windows 8.1 here, no Antivirus besides the Windws builtin, worked before ;) Launcher new of course
Edit, tried again right now, without any changes or update, now it seems to work ;) funny... maybe servers weren't completely up or something else strange
Having same log in issue. When I start it up the app doesn't click start and log me in. Just sits in limbo and CS comes on. If i manually log myself in at that point the game crashes when I load in.

ok nvm I'm in now. Rebooting after minion update seemed to fix it somehow.
Yeah I'm having the issue too. Windows 8.1 64bit, Windows AV. No issues before the update, but now trying to attach crashes the game instantly.
when you say trying to attach? are you meaning you are using teh attach button or when the bot launches the game its self and tries to attach?
Yeah loading the game and logging in with my character, then using the "Attach Bot" button which brings up the PID and then choosing "Attach". I get lots of lines across the screen, which is normal but then game instantly closes instead of the bot loading as normal.
EDIT: I did upgrade my GPU drivers today...not sure if that is related?
