have also noticed the same thing(both cases)
Dots are only used on mobs that meet the predefined HP and HP% set by you.
Bane usage is set by the same settings.


So if you dont like the settings change them...

mob max hp = own max hp = 1
mob max hp = 2x own max hp = 2

etc etc

basicly how much more hp the mob has over you.
well i think we all need to club together to work out some hp % to see if we can get things more consistent - i will try and log in to game myself in the next day xd But that only affects dot casts and not bane right? so why isnt bane firing off as soon as dots are on
Bane wont be used if....
Aethertrail @ 3 stacks.

Bane Requirements...
aoe target count UNDOTTED >= bane count. (this means even if 3 aoe targets are in range the main target is already dotted so is excluded from the count)
Contagion is not ready or no garuda or carbuncle pet.
Main target is fully debuffed.
@sebbs thanks for taking the time on explaining the mechanics behind the previous concern.

Now, Maybe an exposed timer would do the profile good since right now it seems the bot waits out till the last few secs of aethertrail before popping dreadwyrm which sometimes leads to the mob being almost dead and wasting the remainder of its duration

Have an option for the player to set which time/secs of aethertrail he/she'd like to pop dreadwyrm so it can revolve more around their playstyle.
it normally waits till triDisaster is ready or if all else fails last few seconds as not to waste the debuff.

option 1.....

triDisaster and contagion both less than 3 secs on cd timers.

option 2....

triDisaster cd time exceeds aetherial trail duration and needs to be used as not to waste the buff.

Ace may add the option to alter the timer due to feedback.

Also Im mostly sure this is not intended but there are times that fester would fire off even without the full complete debuff (bio, bio II, miasma) therefore not maximizing the 300 potency

It would be appreciated if this could be looked upon.
more info... did bio cast but not land yet or not cast at all?

i looked...

the only reason it will do it is to maintain aetherial trail buff.
