I've seen this too, what you need to do is go into the Inn room and enter the duty from there. nobody around to see, nobody around to report.
For first time team builders here's some tips:
1. create characters with unique names but somewhat generic. NEVER something that would draw attention. I've actually seen BLMs in Ul'dah with Surname Aaa, Bbb, Ccc, Ddd.
2. DONT BE LAZY! Create characters of different races. 4 Clones running around together on same job attracts WAY too much attention.
3. DO NOT JOIN A FC & DENY ALL FRIEND REQUESTS. It may seem like a good idea to get that little xp buff when you're first leveling but everyone on those lists will see how much time you're in dungeons and report you.
These are 3 stupid mistakes I made when I first got the bot and guess what, I got a 72hr suspension.
There should be a window that pops up in red when you buy the bot with best practices like this. Otherwise, the white knights are gonna go on a hypocritical report bender fueled by red bull and pizzahut. Also, the fkin' auto AFK.... I was farming atmas last week and just had to stop cuz this idiot was botting FATEs with AFK flag next to me and I didn't want to be associated.
Thanks Onplanetmars.
Yeah, and there are also ppl who try to MPK or glitch your bot.

I don't know if it's possible with our bot, but be aware of every way your bot can fuck up and let you look like you a dumb ass ;)
I forgot to mention one drawback of botting in the Inn room is that your char will occasionally teleport into nothingness...
Constantly falling into a black void with no idea how to backtrack is rough BUT all you need to do is enter coords of the Inn room to get back to a place where you can exit room.
In Lua Modules select the "Dev" option and the tab Navigation System will allow you to enter coords to teleport to:
Hourglass (Ul'dah Inn):
X: -0.01379800029099
Y: 0.013657707720995
Z: 5.9502711296082
I'll post other city Inn Coords when I get home tonight. Also, because the bot occasionally teleports outside duty is another reason not to do it in public. If it teleports you and you return to be floating in the middle of a town for everyone to see you can pretty much guarantee you'll be banned when you get back from work/school.
being in the black void doesnt hurt anything though. the bot will continue to queue and farm duty. But yeah i save a set of coords for the summon bell. its part of my waypoint pack.
^ yes!
I've had few times fly around search for exit but after setting up Jackie's waypoints... no "ahfuck" moment
alternative to botting in INN
warp off the map some where in MIST ... no ones going to see you and run your bot there
or any other map really
except some times the bot teleports as it exits the dungeon and you end up some where else (which could be in the middle of town floating in the air)
