Fxfire if its helps probably its on executing combat instructions cause i have the problem on Assist and on Grind. (is there a possibility to be tied in to the patching of that BLM exploit that was the talk of last week)?

Launcher always crash the game with all recommandations, reinstall, update, reboot...

are you using default in attach method ? ( Setting/General )
after the program has got problem with fps if you can use the launcher.
so wait a little like most of players.

Any luck finding a source of frame rate drop downs while using Assist?
This makes game unplayable.

Have found another bug for FFXIV:
Advanced Settings > General:
The Use Mount function is not working properly, infact it does not matter if you turn it on or off it will use the mount regardless.
Maybe this is related to the FPS drop rate? Seeing as when you are on a mount fps is normal.

I Dont know if this will help you with the Bug but when i turned off Avoid AOE it helped alot didnt fix it just made it so i stoped standing in AOE"S lol
