i have found an issue with skill manager, dunno if it have been reported yet.
when selecting combat mode "any", its supposed to use the skill in any mode, out , in and both. seems like its not working. anyone know how ti fix it ?

out of combat isnt actually out of combat...
out of combat only works like while in a duty inbetween phases. so you are in combat but not really fighting anything.

so how can i make a skill casting anytime ? my issue is with ninja when im not doing anything, i want it to use huton chain when not doing anything.

You can Kyle it function exactly as you say I am not sure what Cichard is talking about. Make sure you have skill target set to player and player target set to any along with the combat status set to any. Mine works exactly like you describe but only in party because I have that box ticked.
