Hello,
I'm pretty new to FF, and was wondering what would be the best MESH to farm gil?
Any help would be thankful!

low level character or high level character.
Low level: check shard prices on your market board. start with mining or botany to farm shards. Eastern /central Than (mesh includeed with bot) has water and lightning shards.

Can you make gil by doing fates at 50 or fates only good for leveling ?

only good for leveling. the best thing to do at 50 is some form of gathering, hunting specific mobs for what ever they drop.(combat classes) otehr wise level mining/fishing/botanist.

the meshes come with the bot and already have markers set at each type and lvl range. so all you need to do is set the bot to gather, then open the gathering manager and select the marker you want to harvest from. If you want to use any skills then just set them up in the skill manager.

The mesh is just a map for the bot saying where it can and can not go.... I suggest you read the tutorials that will answer all of your questions.
