What change did they make to King Moogle?  It resets HP when it realizes it cant hit you.  Is this something they did globally to all duties?

SE changed most duties to stop these hacks.

if hp resets that means you are outside the arena barrier, so you will need new pos.

Yes, it was set to float just above the King. So just try a few different positions?
