I found that video on the wiki, and I have setup my marker EXACTLY like in the video.  When I hit Start/stop my character just stands there and does nothing.  Is there some setting somewhere else I have to do first?

if u use a team of markers use ime out.
if you use 1 marker use gathering time.

2 = 2 seconds

also check the mesh
and whitelist = 1 mean mining primary nodes, they are the yellow ones...
