Rather than bore you with details of how the new questing code is different, I'll let you explore for yourself.
Have fun, report bugs as you normally would (in the Support section).
....

Where is the code?
I've looked at github, the Wiki and through the website here.

This looks amazing though! Hopeful for the futureThumbsUp

the whole point of the store is so you cannot see the code, or no one can see the code, its totaly encrypted. This is how the store will work. wont be able to share the things you buy, wont be able other companies to steal the work and put it in their bot.

Haha my bad, I guess I need more coffee. Thanks for responding so quickly to such a silly question.

This is huuuuuge!
Thanks for all the great work you put into this. Looking forward to supporting your private releases!

I notice now I can't see any of the old quest profiles :( and if I remove the new questing 2.0 then Quest isn't even a bot mode option any more.

If I understand correctly I will soon have to pay for the bot, and then pay for the script to make the bot function? Why not just include the scripts with the bot?? Is like buying a car then having to pay for the engine separate. I don't mean to disrespect anyone here for their work, I understand people outside of the company work hard on scripts. Will the developers be charge a fee to sell these scripts through the market? I know ultimately is all about $$, but why not have the company pay for the scripts and include it in the bots functionality like it is being advertised? Like I mentioned before I mean no disrespect, I'm just concerned about this new business model.

Think of it as putting flashy aftermarket rims on your new car that you just bought, and along the same analogy even with cars every option you want costs you more.

The prices will be regulated by us and nothing will be ridiculous priced so do not fear. Also not everyone will be a developer, there is a process you will have to go through so only quality things will find its way into the store. This benefits the user as well because there will be a direct link to the developer to provide support for users and because they are making money from their hard work, you will get extremely good support.

The bot will always have the basic functionality, but the addon dev's will have a lot more incentive to make stuff even more amazing.

This gives a very good incentive for people to make these crazy profiles and scripts that take tons of time to make that never would have made it in the real bot. You will not be forced to pay for these addons in any way.

you buy the bot, the bot comes with default profiles, it also comes with the tools to make your own profiles, Look at it this way you buy the bot(car) you get to use basic features(stock car drive it around) but then you want to do some more advanced stuff you have 2 options you can use the tools to build your own profiles(add rims, stereo paintjob) or you can pay a community member for his hardwork for building the profiles him self(take the car to a shop to have them install features or change the paint). the base bot will still be here you can use all the old profiles that have been posted here on the forums, but if you want to not build stuff your self or use less effiecent stuff then you can pay a community members to build it for you. Ofc there will be free shit all over the forum still just like now, not everyone will be able to put stuff on the store,

Thanks Cichard, as long as we can still use the old stuff I support this model, and I think I will try my hand at making my own eventually. If we do how do we sell our stuff on your store?

p.s. to those who want to know, it's C:\mmominion(or wherever you installed it)\Bots\FFXIVMinion\LuaMods\Questing\QuestProfiles

just a warning some profiles may break with questing 2.0, its a total rework of hte qusting module. It hanlde reading profiles differently.
