Sellout - Inventory Management
(11-10-2017, 01:04 AM)sebbs Wrote:  is the item accepted for today?

Yes the collectables I was using at the time were accepted for the day when I was using them. This has been happening since I started trying to use the addon for collectables last week.

So this isn't some known issue then? And I am not missing something like setting a certain setting, or doing something prior to selecting the 'Do Echanges' button?

I will craft some collectables and provide more information to help with debugging or figuring out what the problem is.

I feel your pain Smurf, I can't get this to work for me either.  I've only tried with Molybdenum Tassets of Fending, but I get the exact same result as you.  I click on the always exchange (so it moves to junk), I open up the guys window to turn in collectables, click the box saying Enabled, then click Do Exchanges, then the collectable window just closes and nothing happens further.  No errors in the console.

I also had the same issue trying to turn in Onigara-yaki today in Rhalgr's reach.

why are you going to the guy and opening the window before pressing do exchanges?

If I do not have the Collectable Appraiser window open, then it does appear to work now.

However, to answer your question, Sebbs, why would I not have the collectable appraiser's window open? When I use the addon to sell junk items to a vendor I normally open the npc's window before I "enable" sellout. Not saying that this method is correct or not, but it does work just fine that way. So with that being said, I would expect the exchange function to work in a similar fashion or to be documented somewhere that this already established manner of operation does not work the same way when doing exchanges. I think the main problem is, there is NO documentation at all on the exchange functionality and that is where the confusion comes in. Please do not read this as me bitching about the addon, because I am not. I find the sellout addon extremely useful and I use it a lot. I appreciate all of the hard work all of the devs put into these addon's which make my life much easier, just trying to clarify why there seems to be some confusion on how this feature works.

If its on and inventory is full it moves to vendors and sells.
Turning it off kinda defeats the purpose.

When you press the move to shop or do exchanges it acts as a trigger even if you dont have a full inv yet.

wow, so I was overthinking it. Sure enough just enabling and clicking Do Exchange made it run to the NPC and do all the exchanges. Brilliant.

it's ok if its to much BS to add it, once mastermateria becomes cheap again this hand in will become redundant
