The issue is that the skills won't cast unless your pet is IN FRONT OF YOUR CHARACTER'S Line of SIGHT. So everything works just fine, but you have to keep your pet in front of you basically. Ifrit works perfect because he's always going to be in front. Garuda, you need to maneuver herself or you.
