All your alternatives cost you potency, and you end up with a slashing debuff either way, so please explain to me how it could lose DPS? I've yet to see any theorycrafting support this..Well i meant it was a DPS loss, because typically you should not be in front of the monster in the situation of you having a warrior to put the debuff up for you. imo the toggle should be a hard switch off to not use it, and in the scenario i'm describing for the huton loss, it's during a test dummy trial at stone, sea, sky so there is no phase shift to worry about. for me haru is able to refresh huton one time, and then i can sit on flank position the rest of the time and it will spam regular combo + DE from the rear as well. it flat out will not refresh huton for me after the first refresh.
The only situation I could think of is if you have an upcoming phase change and you'll end up coincidentally dropping Huton, which is incidentally the only way I can see Huton being dropped currently.. could that be true? Or do you see some other way Huton is being dropped for you?
I should mention that if you are seeing yourself get low on Huton, and there is a phase coming up that will cause you a hard time refreshing with AC, you should stick to the flank to force a refresh.
The profile has to perform a balancing act of cutting buffs close enough to maximize DPS, but with enough leeway to allow for weird phase gaps, so some manual management of this effort is required.
This same logic is true for AE, in that if you are good on all your buffs, you need to move to the rear in order to perform AE.
I have been out of town all week, but I was cooking up a solution for debuffs/dots all week, and it will be up as soon as I can implement and re-test (and get somebody to push the update).
