With a full set of Ironworks melded, I noticed something changed. My stat are 944 / 932 / 700. I hit 35 wear, and then it just stands there. I took off a piece of gear to put me back under 700GP as a test, and it's working OK again.

Item wear is beyond its maximum. Collectable gathering rate is capped.
