Weird that it works and you're still getting the error. I've pushed an update to help.
If you're getting spammed still after the update, if you could set logging level to 3, reload lua plugins (ctrl-l), open console (ctrl-c), type in DiscordChat in the filter at the top, and screenshot what you get.
It'll show your channel and message IDs (but definitely not your bot token), so you should DM it to me and not post it here.
