Played around with it some more in the first dungeon. Hope this info helps a bit.
Regarding the first boss, is there a way to have your character follow the Trust NPC relentlessly when the floor starts going crazy and stop attacking? A good example of where it fails is after Gibbet Cage around 60%. It dodges the circle AoE but remains in the criss-crossed floor until it's too late, even though the Trust NPC moves long before. There's a chance you may survive this depending on where the safe zone is, but if it's too far then you don't stand a chance. I think if you followed the NPC above all else, as soon as they move at this part, it might be okay. Your character can survive one hit at a time, but if it gets caught in a double criss-cross while running to a safe zone because they weren't running early enough, then it's a wipe.
