If you want to make this last through updates/restarts of the client than create a new lua module for it. You can add buttons to any window through an init function in a separate module and overwrite the e_cast:execute() function also, as long as your module declares ffxivminion as a dependency. See this tutorial I wrote for gw2 some time back; the context is different but the basic ideas are the same.
