[Module] Spiritbond v3.0 - Updated 19 Jan 2015

I will take a look into this, but it was mainly built with DoW/DoM in mind. It's a good point however... I never stated this anywhere :).

Not a make or break feature I'll just sit there and stop it crafting when it needs to change (it's still good for organising which pieces need to SB)

Just means I can't afk it for a period of time.

If you set bot to use food it will stop crafting to use food when food wears and use food. You could use trash food to wear at 30 minutes and see if the gear swaps out at that point. Never tried it myself just a suggestion if you wanted to afk it.

The module has been updated to support saving different item sets.

The initial post was modified with this new information:

"Save Item Sets"
Under "Multiple Item IDs" there are options for loading / saving items sets.
  1. "Settings" is where your saved Profiles will show up. By default, there is one called "DoW_General" as an example.
  2. Click the "DoW_General" and the item ID's will populate.
  3. You can modify this list, save the modifications, or save as a new profile.
  4. The bottom of the list is "Profile Name" - This will be updated with the loaded profile, or you can enter your own name.
  5. Press "Save Settings" and the current list will save to an '.ilist' file within the Spiritbond directory.
  6. ReLoad Lua Modules if you want to double check if your profile is saved and seen by the module. Otherwise it will be there on next restart. You could also just check the file system.

For reference, the "DoW_General" profile is the following items:
Head: Raptorskin Pot Helm
Chest: Raptorskin Harness
Hands: Fingerless Raptorskin Gloves
Belt: Peisteskin Belt
Legs: Raptorskin Subligar
Feet: Cobalt-plated Jackboots
Neck: Electrum Gorget
Ears: Amber Earrings
Wrists: Amber Bracelet
Rings: Electrum Ring

I've been unable to reproduce this, and have had others test it for me as well. Only thing I can think of off-hand, is ensuring ffxiv / minion is running as admin, and check the write permissions on the folder. Since the module now deals with with file io, this could very well be the case.

If anyone has this problem, please open up the console, and let me know if any errors are thrown. Thanks!

I get an error whenever i try to save that reads

failed with [string "(Mylocation)\ffxiv_updater\LuaMods\/ffxivminion/spritbond.lua"]:498: attempt to index local 'file' (a nil value)

I clicked save multiple times just to make sure and i typed it out exactly as it reads. I have had no issues other than the saving part though.

Edit: Of course, (Mylocation) refers to where its saved on my hard drive.

This appears to be due to an unexpected install location. From the initial post:

Quote:-Place the unzipped "Spiritbond" directory into '$minionlocation\LuaMods\'
- Ending structure should be '$minionlocation\LuaMods\Spiritbond' which will contain three files: module.def, multibond.lua, and DoW_General.ilist

The module is looking for "GetStartupPath() .. [[\LuaMods\Spiritbond\]];"
So, "(MinionLocation)\LuaMods\Spiritbond\spiritbond.lua" is where the main script should be. It's looking within the "(MinionLocation)\LuaMods\Spiritbond\" directory to save and access the item files.

I've had minion installed for long while. I'll re-run the installer to double check the default structure. Other than that, I believe this is just a non-typical install path. I'll take a look at accounting for such. For now, I would suggest correcting the paths.

Module has been updated to resolve a few restart conditions with minion, and to add support for custom disable locations.

The initial post has been updated with the following information.

Updating
  • To ensure you don't lose your settings or item lists, please merge the new folder with the old one, accepting any file overwrites

"Custom Teleport Location" :
  • "Custom Teleport Location" :
You may now select the location the bot will teleport when disable conditions are met. There are a few items to note here:
  • By default, you will return to your Home Point.
  • If minion crashes and restarts, Home Point will be used (due to default)
  • If you like to QA my module, and select one of the 'Separator' locations, Home Point will be used.
  • If you select Personal House, but do not own one, the Teleport will fail, but Minion and this module will be disabled.
  • If you select FC housing area, but are not housed in that area, you will still be ported to your FC house. I don't suggest doing this.
  • I have not tested selecting FC house, without having one.

19 Jan 2015:
Support for Custom Teleport location on disable has been added.
If minion is set to autostart, and the last mode was grind, Spiritbond module and autoDisable will be enabled.
If the autostart conditions are met, the Spiritbond module will start opened.

confirming that teleporting to housing is currently a bad idea, I selected personal house, which I own and it ported me to the lavender beds as it should have, but I landed in limbo and was floating in the air. Would really love to be able to have it port to my house when im done, but for now mor dhona will suffice, thanks.
