i found a little problem with the tricks of the trade logic, if you are down to 10 durability and you get "good" quality, if it has enough CP it will use masters mend instead of using tricks of trade first, since tricks doesnt use up any durability is should be 100% priority no matter what
Tried it with my new BSM. Having Steady Hand II and Hasty touch causes it to do nothing. Unchecked it and it worked fine. :3
Ok this is seriously jacked up now. This efficiency addition needs to be explained or taken off this addon it is seriously screwing up a crapton of synths. Out of my last 5 synths I have completed 1 because the tool now sits and worries about quality damn near 100 percent of the time. On a 40/40 Synth at level 14/15 I should have 0 issues completing a level 17 synth but I cannot because after masters mend this thing sits here and continues on with quality now.
Whoever added efficiency PLEASE explain it before just making an update. This bot worked fine before I got home from work now that im home it cannot complete a synth... Ok i took off IQ and now its fixed? This makes no sense.
I have Tricks of the trade selected that is not working.
Anyway, for the developers, here are some observations I found:
1) My level 15 BSM stops doing anything when I tick Steady Hand II or Innovation
2) With Flawless Synthesis ticked, it finishes the item even when I still have durability and CP.
Flawless Synth isn't coded correctly since it's not an efficiency, it's a set amount of progress.
In fact, let me go over a few things that won't be addressed until ymko pushes his big update:
Manipulation, Rumination, Flawless Synth, Great Strides, Byregot's Blessing, any of the elemental touches, Observe, Piece by Piece, and Waste Not will not work at all (there is no logic for them and they all have special mechanics).
Great Strides, Innovation, and Ingenuity might work, but not well since you don't want them to always be up.
There are certain things the bot can't recognize without predictive algorithms, like that it won't use up CP for quality moves if you can finish it, or not cast SH/Tricks if you have the CP and just need careful synth once more.
There are also things that could be implemented fairly easily, but won't as of yet like more restrictions on when to use Tricks (for instance, you don't want to use it if you gain no CP but it would waste a SH charge).
There does seem to be one issue that I can't seem to replicate, and that is the one where if you have IQ and SH2 up it won't do its progress move. That may be lag, or it may be my inability to explain the efficiency setting. If this happens to you, try reloading lua scripts and trying it again (after inputting all the appropriate parameters), or try setting the wait time in the UseSkill function to something higher and see if that helps (make sure to reload lua scripts after you do this). I'm still trying to replicate this.
